Beijing, November 14th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with a delegation from Southeast Asian and South Asian countries, which aimed for "political party +" cooperation. The two sides exchanged views on exploring and advancing modernization paths with respective national characteristics.

Sun said, achieving modernization is the common goal of countries in the region. The CPC is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with all sectors of countries in the region, including political parties, work together to answer the question of the times, and explore the path to modernization suited to our respective national conditions.

The foreign guests said, the CPC has led China to blaze a path of modernization with Chinese characteristics different from that of the West. They looked forward to continuing to learn the successful experience from the Chinese side, promoting mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, and achieving common prosperity.
