From November 10th to 19th, a workshop for heads of media affairs of global political parties was held in China. 28 heads of publicity and media affairs of political parties from 25 countries attended the event. The theme of the workshop is "global significance of China's further comprehensive deepening of reforms." Members of the workshop visited Beijing, Gansu and Guizhou to explore the achievements of Chinese modernization and discuss new paths for media cooperation among political parties.

During the visit in Beijing, Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held discussions with workshop members. They also visited the Museum of the Chinese Communist Party and the Beijing 12345 Citizen Hotline Service Center, and went to China Global Television Network and Communication University of China for inspection and exchanges. During their visit in Gansu, Zhang Yongxia, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Gansu Provincial Committee and Head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Gansu Provincial Committee, met with them. The workshop members visited Gansu Daily Newspaper Group and Gansu New Media Group for discussions and exchanges, and visited Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes and Lanzhou New Area. During their stay in Guizhou, Lu Yongzheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee and Head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, met with them. They also attended the 2024 "China in Sight, Global Insight" Forum" Forum, inspected the "Sky Bridge" bridge-tourism integration project and the National Big Data (Guizhou) Comprehensive Pilot Zone, and visited the "China Sky Eye". 

Members of the workshop said, through the visits, they have deepened their understanding of China and the CPC, and are willing to strengthen "political party + media" exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese side to jointly improve their governance capabilities, cope with the challenges brought about by changes in the international situation and media development and changes, and make the voice of fairness and justice for China and the world louder.
