Lu Kang Meets with Pam Chong Dunn, Charge d'Affaires of the New Zealand Embassy in China

Beijing, January 22nd—Lu Kang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Pam Chong Dunn, Charge d'Affaires of the New Zealand Embassy in China.

 

 

Lu said, not long ago, President Xi Jinping met with Prime Minister Christopher Luxon in Lima, charting the course for the future development of bilateral relations. China is willing to work with New Zealand to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and promote China-New Zealand comprehensive strategic partnership for healthy and stable development.

 

 

Pam Chong Dunn said, New Zealand attaches high importance to developing relations with China and is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China in various fields. The New Zealand Embassy in China is willing to strengthen working ties with the IDCPC and further intensify exchanges.

 

 

The two sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern.
