Beijing, March 17th—Jin Xin, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Sameeh Hayat, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs of Kuwait. 

Jin spoke positively of China-Kuwait relationship. He said China is willing to work with Kuwait to implement the important consensus and cooperation agreements reached by the two heads of state, strengthen concept exchanges, deepen integration of cooperation, promote mutual learning between civilizations, and strengthen communication and coordination on multilateral occasions, so as to push China-Kuwait strategic partnership for new and greater development. Jin also introduced the spirit of China's Two Sessions. 

Hayat congratulated China on the successful convening of the Two Sessions. He said, Kuwait attaches great importance to developing relations with China, and highly appreciates the three major global initiatives and the Belt and Road Initiative proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping. Kuwait is ready to strengthen friendly exchanges with China, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in economy, trade, investment, infrastructure, energy and other fields, and promote the implementation of the cooperation agreements signed by the two countries at an early date, so as to transform them into practical results that benefit the people of the two countries.
