From March 14th to 15th, Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, led a CPC delegation to visit Panama. Ma met with leaders of Panama's major political parties and held discussions with scholars from think tanks. Ma expressed China’s willingness to strengthen exchanges with Panama’s political parties and think tanks to enhance mutual understanding and trust, and to solidify the public opinion basis for China-Panama friendship. The Panamanian side expressed its commitment to deepening friendly exchanges, building consensus on cooperation, and promoting the continuous development of the China-Panama friendship.
