Beijing, March 28th—Jin Xin, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Assem Hanafi, Egyptian Ambassador to China, who was about to leave his post.
Jin highly praised the contributions made by Hanafi during his tenure to promoting China-Egypt relations and inter-party exchanges. He said, under the care and guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Egypt has become a model of unity, cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win results between China and Arab, African and Global South countries. China is willing to deepen practical cooperation and exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations with Egypt, and promote continuous new and greater development of bilateral relations.
Hanafi thanked the IDCPC for providing support and convenience for his work in China. He said that Egypt attaches great importance to developing relations with China, firmly adheres to the one-China policy, and is willing to work with China to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields between the two countries, and strengthen coordination and cooperation in international and regional affairs to jointly cope with risks and challenges.
