Jin Xin Meets with a Delegation of Political Parties and Think Tanks from Middle East Countries

Beijing, April 27thJin Xin, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of political parties and think tanks from Middle East countries to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Political Parties Forum. 


Jin spoke positively of the relations between China and Middle East countries, saying that China and Middle East countries are both important members of the Global South and Eastern countries with profound cultural heritage. The relations between the two sides are constantly reaching new historical heights. China is willing to deepen cooperation with Middle East countries in various fields, pursue high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and jointly advocate an equal and orderly multipolar world and a mutually beneficial and inclusive economic globalization. 

The representatives of political parties and think tanks from Middle East countries highly praised the achievements of Xinjiang's economic and social development, saying that the three major global initiatives proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Belt and Road Initiative have injected positive energy into the security and development of the Middle East. They appreciated China's just position on the Palestinian question and expressed their willingness to deepen cooperation with China on multilateral platforms such as the SCO and BRICS to jointly safeguard international fairness and justice.
