Beijing, May 27th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a delegation of African think tanks and media outlets led by Lindiwe Zulu, Member of the National Executive Committee of the African National Congress (ANC) of South Africa.
Li thoroughly introduced the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) and the bright prospects for China's economic development. He said that strengthening unity and cooperation with African countries has always been a priority of China's diplomacy. China is willing to work with Africa to deepen inter-party exchanges and think tank and media cooperation under the guidance of the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and African leaders, tell the story of China-Africa friendship well and promote the building of the all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era.
Zulu spoke highly of the great achievements of Chinese modernization. She said that China's cooperation with Africa has effectively driven the development of African countries and brought tangible benefits to the African people. African think tanks and media outlets have the responsibility to tell the story of Africa-China unity and cooperation with facts and figures, promote the implementation of the outcomes of the FOCAC Beijing Summit and help Africa accelerate its modernization.
