Beijing, May 27th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a delegation led by Ngo Dong Hai, deputy head of the Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).
Chen said that in April this year, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and President Xi Jinping paid a successful state visit to Vietnam, and together with To Lam, General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee, drew up a new blueprint for the development of relations between the two Parties and the two countries. The CPC is willing to work with the CPV to fully implement the important consensus reached by the general secretaries of the two Parties, strengthen the unity and mutual trust between the two Parties, deepen cooperation in such fields as communication, ideology, culture, economy, trade, investment, and inter-connectivity, and actively contribute to promoting the construction of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance and the building of a community with a shared future with neighboring countries.
Ngo Dong Hai spoke highly of the successful convening of the CPC in Dialogue with Political Parties of Neighboring Countries. He said, Vietnam is willing to work with China to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties, strengthen strategic communication, deepen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in state governance and administration and practical cooperation in various fields, consolidate the public opinion basis for Vietnam-China relations, and promote the in-depth and substantial progress of a Vietnam-China community with a shared future.
