Beijing, July 9th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of leaders of political parties from French and Portuguese-speaking countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
Li said, the CPC is willing to work with African political parties to take the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and African leaders as guidance, implement the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, enhance strategic communication, deepen ideological exchanges, promote practical cooperation, enhance people-to-people bonds, and jointly build an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era.
The representatives of the delegation said, the friendship between Africa and China is long-standing and bilateral cooperation has achieved fruitful results. African political parties are willing to carry out political dialogue with the CPC, deepen exchanges of experience in state governance and administration, adhere to strategic autonomy, explore development paths that suit their national conditions, and jointly promote modernization.
