Li Mingxiang Meets with Abigail Shoniwa, Ambassador of Zimbabwe to China

Beijing, August 28th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Abigail Shoniwa, Ambassador of Zimbabwe to China. 


Positively evaluating the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, Li said, the CPC is willing to work together with the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF) to leverage the advantages of exchanges between ruling parties, promote the implementation of the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, strengthen experience exchange in state governance and administration and cooperation in various fields, and contribute the strength of the political parties to deepening and upgrading the China-Zimbabwe comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation. 

Shoniwa said, Zimbabwe values its relations with China and the CPC, and is grateful for China's long-term support for Zimbabwe's economic and social development. The Zimbabwean Embassy in China is willing to play a bridging role and actively promote the in-depth development of relations between the two Parties and the two countries, and contribute to building a high-level China-Zimbabwe community with a shared future.
