Jin Xin Meets with an FLN Delegation of Algeria

Beijing, November 4th—Jin Xin, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a delegation of the Algerian National Liberation Front (FLN) led by Tahar Hadjar, Member of the FLN Central Committee and former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Algeria.


Jin said, China and Algeria enjoy a profound traditional friendship. In recent years, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, political mutual trust between the two countries has been continuously deepened, and bilateral cooperation in various fields has flourished. The CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges of experience in party governance and state administration with the FLN, jointly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, and promote greater development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Algeria. Jin elaborated on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, stating that China will continue to expand high-level opening up and is willing to share development opportunities with Algeria to achieve common development. 

Hadjar spoke highly of the significance of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and expressed deep admiration for the great achievements of Chinese modernization. He said, Algeria supports the Belt and Road Initiative and the four major global initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping, and the FLN looks forward to strengthening friendly exchanges with the CPC, deepening mutual learning, and promoting cooperation in various fields such as economy, trade, and people-to-people and cultural engagement, so as to better benefit the people of both countries.
