Beijing, November 6th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call here today with Klaus Seltenheim, Federal Managing Director of the Social Democratic Party of Austria.
Ma elaborated on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He said, China's high-quality development and high-level opening-up during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030) will open up a broader space for China-Austria cooperation. It is hoped that both sides will take the opportunity of celebrating the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year to enhance exchanges at all levels including government and political parties, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation and promote the continuous development of the China-Austria friendly strategic partnership.
Seltenheim thanked China for briefing him on the plenary session. He said, the Austrian government and the Social Democratic Party attach importance to relations with China and are willing to strengthen political dialogue with China, deepen economic and trade cooperation and jointly address global challenges such as regional conflicts and climate change.
