Beijing, November 10th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with the Fifth Emerging Leaders Delegation of the Labour Party of Malta led by John Grech, International Secretary of the Labour Party of Malta.

Ma elaborated on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Ma said, the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030) is a crucial time to lay a solid foundation and make comprehensive efforts for basically achieving socialist modernization. It has made top-level designs and strategic plans for China's economic and social development in the next five years. For a long time, the Labour Party has made important contributions to promoting China-Malta relations and China-Europe relations. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of inter-party relations between the Labour Party and the CPC. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Maltese side to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen exchanges and cooperation in all fields, and make greater contributions to promoting bilateral relations, China-Europe relations as well as world peace and stability.
Grech said, the Labour Party appreciates the strategic vision and effective measures of the CPC in formulating long-term plans. The Labour Party government has proposed the 2050 Vision and is willing to strategically align it with China's 15th Five-Year Plan, especially in strengthening cooperation in areas such as artificial intelligence to benefit the two countries and the two peoples. Both the Labour Party and the CPC are centenary-old parties and are willing to enhance concept exchanges on state governance and party building, and increase exchanges among young politicians to contribute to the next 40 years of inter-party relations.
