Beijing, November 18th—Yang Xiaodu, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, met here today with a joint study group of the ruling parties of several Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC).

Briefing on the fourth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, Yang said that China-CEEC cooperation has become an important cross-regional cooperation platform that is open, inclusive, and mutually beneficial. The CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CEEC ruling parties to promote greater development of friendly relations.

Foreign guests said that the CEEC ruling parties attach great importance to developing relations with China and stand ready to promote the Belt and Road Initiative and in-depth development of “17+1” cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.

On the same day, Yang also met with Marko Djuric, Vice President of the Serbian Progressive Party.
