The International Department of the CPC Central Committee, in collaboration with the CPC Hebei Provincial Committee and the Working Committee of Xiongan New Area, held a thematic briefing titled "Stories of CPC: Xiongan’s Achievements in Practicing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" on June 28, in Xiongan New Area.

The theme of this briefing was "A Millennium Prospect for the Coordinated Development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region." Over 230 political party leaders or representatives from nearly 40 countries attended the briefing.

In an interview with The Paper and other Chinese media outlets, BIshnu Rimal, Deputy General Secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist)(CPN-UML), emphasized the Chinese modernization and Western modernization are different. He noted that one major difference is that Chinese modernization stresses whole-process people's democracy, where people participate in all processes, including decision-making.

Additionally, BIshnu Rimal highlighted that another key difference is that Chinese modernization impacts the entire society and aims for common prosperity.

In China, we can see that the measure of development is the degree of overall societal development and the happiness of all its people, he stated.
