Beijing, May 26th—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Aktam Akhmadovich Khaitov, Chairman of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen – Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP).   

Liu said that under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, China-Uzbekistan relations have maintained strong development momentum. China is willing to work with Uzbekistan to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, further strengthen high-level exchanges, consolidate political mutual trust, deepen cooperation such as the Belt and Road cooperation, and intensify people-to-people and cultural exchanges, so as to push the bilateral relations to a new level. Calling Uzbekistan an important country in Central Asia, Liu said China is willing to strengthen coordination and cooperation with Uzbekistan within multilateral frameworks such as the China-Central Asia mechanism and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and promote the building of a closer China-Central Asia community with a shared future. The CPC is willing to work with the UzLiDeP, the ruling party of Uzbekistan, to strengthen strategic communication and political dialogue, deepen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in state governance and administration, promote exchanges between youth and think tanks, and promote the development of the all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership for a new era between the two countries.    

Khaitov said, the visit to China left a deep impression on me, especially the visit to the Museum of the Communist Party of China, which was very inspiring. The Museum is an important platform for people to understand the history of the CPC's struggle and an important platform for the patriotic education for the youth. Uzbekistan and China are good neighbors and good brothers. The friendship between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Xi Jinping is a precious asset in the relationship between the two countries. Uzbekistan highly appreciates and fully supports the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind proposed by President Xi Jinping, believing that this concept charts the course for cooperation among countries and is in the common interests of all countries. The UzLiDeP cherishes its friendly relations with the CPC and is willing to comprehensively strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC and make efforts to promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind through inter-party channels.
