Beijing, November 7th—Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Alberto Blanco Silva, Cuban Ambassador to China and briefed him on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.

Liu said, not long ago, the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee was successfully held, and the Recommendations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development was adopted, which has drawn a blueprint for China's economic and social development in the coming period and injected more stability and positive energy into the world. Inter-party relations hold a special position in the relations between China and Cuba. The CPC is willing to work with the Communist Party of Cuba to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, maintain the momentum of high-level exchanges, deepen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in state governance and administration, and strengthen cooperation and exchanges in areas such as cadre training and theoretical research, and jointly promote the development and revitalization of respective countries and the steady progress of the socialist cause. 

Alberto Blanco Silva said, the Communist Party of Cuba warmly congratulates the successful convening of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and highly spoke of the adoption of the Recommendations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development at the plenary session. It is believed that this is not only crucial for China's development but also brings certainty to the complex and volatile international situation. Cuba thanks China for its long-term valuable support for Cuba's economic and social development and fully supports the major global initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping. The relationship between the two Parties is the cornerstone of the special friendly relations between the two countries.
