Beijing, May 20th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Nikolai Snopkov, the new Belarusian Ambassador to China.

Qian welcomed Snopkov on his assumption of the new post in China and spoke positively of the development of China-Belarus comprehensive strategic partnership and bilateral cooperation in fighting COVID-19. Qian expressed the CPC’s readiness to deepen friendly exchanges with all sectors of Belarus to push China-Belarus cooperation for new outcomes and bring benefit to the two peoples.

Snopkov noted that Belarus-China cooperation in epidemic containment showcases again the profound friendship between both countries. Belarus will implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state in an earnest manner to push for new breakthroughs in Belarus-China cooperation across the board.
