Beijing, August 26th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a delegation of members of the National Assembly of several political parties of Ecuador. The delegation was led by Jonathan Emanuel Parra Villacís, President of the Commission on International Relations and Human Mobility of the National Assembly of the Republic of Ecuador and Patricia Nunez, President of Ecuador-China Interparliamentary Friendship Group.
Ma spoke positively of China-Ecuador relations and inter-party exchanges, and emphatically introduced the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He said that the CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with all parties in the National Assembly of Ecuador, jointly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, and play a political guiding role in promoting bilateral relations for in-depth development.
The Ecuadorian side congratulated the CPC on the successful convening of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and highly admired the tremendous achievements of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The Ecuadorian side said, the political parties of the National Assembly of Ecuador attach great importance to the development of Ecuador-China relations, stand ready to establish and develop friendly relations with the CPC to promote respective party building and national development, and better benefit the two countries and peoples.
