Beijing, January 6th—Zhao Shitong, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with Rudolf Scharping, former Chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Germany and Chairman of RSBK AG at request. 

Zhao said, last year marked the 10th anniversary of the establishment of China-Germany all-round strategic partnership, and the two meetings between President Xi Jinping and Chancellor Olaf Scholz have charted the course for the further development of bilateral relations. Taking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of CPC's inter-party relations with the Social Democratic Party of Germany as a new starting point, the CPC is willing to work with the Social Democratic Party to make more contributions to enhancing the synergy of development strategies and promoting practical cooperation between the two countries. 

Scharping said, the Social Democratic Party attaches great importance to its engagement with the CPC and the German business community is optimistic about the prospects of China's economic development. RSBK AG is willing to strengthen exchanges with the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Chinese local governments and enterprises to elevate Germany-China and Europe-China economic and trade cooperation to new heights.
