Beijing, August 27th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Evgenios Kalpyris, Greek Ambassador to China. 

Sun positively evaluated the relations between the two countries and the inter-party exchanges. Sun said, the friendly relations between China and Greece have a long history. The two sides have maintained close high-level exchanges, with fruitful results in practical cooperation in various fields. China is willing to work with Greece to further leverage the advantages and role of the inter-party channels to promote the healthy and stable development of China-Greece relations. 

Kalpyris said, Greece attaches great importance to developing relations with China and is willing to strengthen exchanges between the two governments, parliaments and political parties. The Greek Embassy in China is willing to actively provide assistance to strengthen inter-party exchanges between Greece and China.
