Beijing, August 28th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of National Citizen Party of Bangladesh led by its convener Nahid Islam. 

Sun reviewed the long history of exchanges between China and Bangladesh, positively evaluated the development of bilateral relations, and stated that China always respects and supports the Bangladeshi people in choosing their own path of development. China is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the National Citizen Party and other Bangladeshi political parties to continuously push forward bilateral relations. 

Nahid highly appraised the bilateral relations, and praised China's development achievements. He emphasized that the National Citizen Party is committed to promoting national transformation, firmly supports efforts in developing friendly relations with China, and looks forward to deepening inter-party relations with the CPC.
